Launch 1 hour and a half before sunset, at float at 21.8 km altitude for 20 minutes before sunset, then descending slowly during nighttime at about 0.5 to 1 m/s. Cut down has been activated after 2 hours and 20 minutes at float and 18.8 km altitude for safety reasons
19 Feb 2003 MIR ENVISAT1 Narcisse INMARSAT C, radiometer, SAOZ Flight failure : the MIR climbed up to 16 km altitude and then started to descent rapidly. Payloads recovered in good shape.
20 Feb-1 March 2003 MIR ENVISAT2 Narcisse INMARSAT C, radiometer, SAOZ/H2O, lightning and blue-jet sensor Launch at 23:00 UT ENVISAT2 map (9 days)
22 Feb 2003 MIR RUMBA Narcisse INMARSAT eC-track, RUMBA-H2O/O3, RUMBA Turbulence Flight failure : the MIR climbed up to the tropopause and then started to descent rapidly. Payloads recovered.
23 Feb 2003 10 ZL ENVISAT evening SAOZ, SAOZ/BrO, DIRAC N2O, MICRO-LIDAR, O3 SSS/H2O SAW Launch at 20:20 UT. Cut down was activated after 2 hours and 30 minutes nighttime flight when altitude was 26 km.
23 Feb-3 March 2003 Lightened MIR 46 Narcisse INMARSAT eC-track, SAOZ (ENVISAT1 payload recovered) Launch at 23 UT. MIR46 map (8 days)
